Motul 300V vs. Motul 7100: What's the Difference?
Both Motul 300V and Motul 7100 are premium full synthetic motorcycle oils, but they're designed around different priorities. The best choice comes down primarily to how you use your motorcycle.
Motul 300V Factory Line
Motul 300V Factory Line is Motul's competition-focused racing oil. Its Ester Core technology is engineered for high-performance motorcycles operating under demanding conditions, with an emphasis on maximum engine response, acceleration, oil-film strength and protection for the engine, gearbox and clutch.
For racers and serious track riders, 300V is the performance-focused choice. Racing and sustained hard track use subject engine oil to extreme RPM, temperature and load, so motorcycles used under these conditions will commonly follow a more aggressive oil-change and maintenance schedule.

Motul 7100
Motul 7100 is a premium full synthetic motorcycle oil designed for high-performance street, sport and adventure riding with occasional trackdays. Its Ester-based formulation provides excellent engine protection, wet-clutch performance and smooth, consistent shifting.
Motul emphasizes consistent performance throughout the drain interval with 7100. That makes it the more practical choice for riders who want premium synthetic performance while following the normal service intervals appropriate for their motorcycle and riding conditions.
For a motorcycle that spends most of its life on the street but still sees aggressive riding, weekend canyon riding or occasional trackdays, 7100 is the Motul oil we'd recommend for most riders.

The simple way to choose: If you're racing or doing serious track riding where maximum engine performance is the priority, choose Motul 300V.
If you want premium full synthetic performance for street riding, aggressive sport riding and trackdays with a formulation intended to deliver consistent performance throughout its service interval, choose Motul 7100.
Motul Shine & Go
Savvy motorcycle techs know to reach for Motul when they need maximum quality performance. A great example is Motul's Shine & Go plastic polish/reviver. This silicone-based spray product is perfect for enhancing the shine and color of plastic components such as fairings, dashboards, mirror housings, fenders, mudguards and various engine covers. It leaves a long-lasting, non-sticky protective film that makes washing off grime and bugs easier.
It's even recommended for reviving faded plastics that have been steam and/or high-pressure washed.
Motul Motorcycle Chain Care
Motul also cares for your bike's drive chain, starting with their Chain Clean. It removes all the encrusted deposits of dirt, sand, grease and grime in a non-chlorine and grease-dissolving formula. Suitable for all O-ring, X-ring and Z-ring chains found on road and race sportbikes. The Motul Chain Clean formula also evaporates quickly, meaning less mess and a quicker time to apply the Motul Chain Lube.
Motul Factory Line Chain Lube
For extreme roadrace and endurance racing applications, Motul's Chain Lube Factory Line is specially developed to adhere to the chain at high speeds. Employing a Boron-based formula that reduces rolling resistance and maintains lubrication under high pressure. The Factory Line also uses a solvent to eliminate old residue and penetrates the links. Factory Line is compatible with all O-ring, X-ring and Z-ring chains.
Motul Chain Lube Road
For high-performance street use, select Motul's Chain Lube Road, which is a colorless lubricant that is water and salt-resistant to protect against corrosion.
