Developed from years of research with the world's top riders in MotoGP, the Alpinestars Tech-Air 10 airbag system is a slim, self-contained wearable airbag system that provides and unrivaled level of protection and coverage during a crash. Using 12 sensors and an advanced crash detection algorithm the airbag is able to deploy in 40ms when a crash is detected, protecting the shoulders, chest, full back and hips from the beginning of a crash, before hitting the ground. The Tech-Air 10 can be worn under any Tech-Air compatible Alpinestars suit or any other suit with an extra 4cm of chest and 2cm hip space in the suit for the airbag to deploy and fill. The Tech-Air 10 is activated when you zip up the front and fasten the belt.
